Notice:

Please would all juniors interested in playing in competitions outside of the club, download, print, fill in, and return a Player Registration Form to the Sussex LTA County office. This will mean you are sent entry forms and tournament information.

 

To compete in competitions you need British Tennis membership to gain a player rating, this is free to all members of an LTA affiliated club, so if you are a member at Storrington LTC you qualify for free British Tennis membership! 

 

A player rating works like a golf handicap, so it's an excellent way of measuring your progress. You have to be at least 10 years old to get a rating and you start off as a 10.2. The application process is vey simple and takes only 5 minutes to be completed online. Click here for more information and to join British Tennis.

 

Once you have a player rating you have to win three matches against other LTA rated players to move up to a 10.1. As a 10.1 you have to win three more matches to progress up to a 9.2. Once you have won three matches, download, print and fill in this LTA ratings scorecard, and ask me to sign it. The scorecard has to be completed with your opponents LTA membership number.
