U9 County Tour
(January 15, 2012)The Sussex County tour came to Storrington on Sunday 15th Jan 2012.
The U9 Boys event received a full entry of 16 players, including 8 local Storrington boys. Fantastic tennis was played and enjoyed by all, with matches being played with great determination and sportsmanship.
Congratulations to Storrington's Joe Trees, Finley Shephard and Alex Manktelow for winning through their groups and reaching the quarter-finals. Also to Oliver Munn for winning the high quality consolation draw.
In the main draw final, Storrington's own Matthew Langley ending up winning a three set final against Lemuel Cassidy.
Overall a great tournament enjoyed by players and parents alike.
