Mini tennis victory!
(February 26, 2013)Well done to SLTC's Mini Red U8 team who won their winter club competition beating Pav & Ave (Hove), Maresfield and Easbourne Sports Park.
The victoy was made even more remarkable when unfortunately one team member pulled out ill on the morning of the event. Unable to find a replacement at such short notice, this meant the team pulled off this achievement with only three players.
The event held at Eastbourne Sports Park, consisted of 8 singles matches and 2 doubles against each team. This meant SLTC started each match 3-0, due to the numerical disadvantage.
The team was made up of Adam Trees, Tom Murtagh and Toby Barton. Well done boys!
