Eastbourne Trip
(June 19, 2011)4 Lucky Storrington LTC juniors enjoyed a trip to Devonshire Park, Eastbourne to watch the joint WTA and ATP event.
As well as playing for 45mins in the Kidz zone, we got to watch the Williams sisters, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Brisitsh No.1 Elena Baltacha, James Ward, Janko Tipsarevic and Francesca Schiavone. Including pictures with Ward and eventual Champion Andras Seppi.
Eastbourne is a great venue, players are relaxed before Wimbledon, mixing with the fans, it's very easy to get close to the action on the practice and outside courts.
A great day was enjoyed by all, thanks to Sussex LTA for providing the tickets. This is something that is quickly to be an annual trip if possible.
