New Floodlights at Storrington
(February 27, 2009)Storrington LTC now have an impressive 7 out of 8 courts floodlit.
Courts 6 and 7 are the latest courts to have floodlights fitted, with them first being switched on, on Wed 25th Feb. This exciting development for the club reflects the increased membership numbers in recent years, resulting in more demand on the courts.
The lights will be used for increased junior coaching during the winter months. As well as providing more courts for senior clubtime if necessary. It will also allow members to book courts after dark, and hopefully encourage more play generally at the club.
This coupled with the club achieving LTA ClubMark accreditation rounds off the positive news for the club recently.
