Tennis coaching at Dorset House School
(October 21, 2008)I am pleased to announce that Caroline and I have agreed to take over the tennis programme at Dorset House which commenced on 16th October.
The school have a new Head Master, Richard Brown who is very keen to make tennis at Dorset House their No.1 sport. The school have initially commited to 7 hours coaching per week mainly during lunch periods. Groups run for 45 minutes. We hope to significntly increase the programme especially during summer months.
This could be good news for Storrington LTC as many of the children at Dorset House have expressed an interest in joining the club as they become more serious about their tennis. Some are already members of the club and are using it as an opportunity to gain extra tuition.
Furthermore, we hope to organise regular fixtures between Dorset House and Storrington in the not to distant future.
